This is an Eastlake style Victorian folding chair circa mid-late 19th century. The wood chair features a curved headrest with a carved crest and accents. A warmly toned tapestry shapes the seat and back. The "lawn" chair folds in to be easily carried and for storage.

CONDITION

The chair is sturdy, and has aged well. The tapestry is original to the chair with natural wear from age and use. The base of the seat shows an old reinforcement with ticking fabric.
