This is an antique cast iron pedestal mailbox. The Victorian white iron figural cast box features a brass "Letters" swing deposit opening with a key lock back door opening for retrieval. Charming scenes of the Pony Express and a postal carrier delivering a letter to a woman of the house. A delightful, decorative mailbox for the time-honored decor.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Key lock on back side is a modern replacement. Some loss of paint.
